Mtnez-Almela · I. de los Rios · Training Project Management Complexity In Postgraduate And... · pp 317-332 INTRODUCTION Currently, we are involved in a widereaching process of reflection and change oriented toward promoting a qualitative leap in the educational model of the universities of the European Union stemming from different agreements reached in the EU to construct a European Higher Education Area (EHEA) to be the basis of a new knowledgebased economy that responds to the challenges of globalization and to the complexity of the situations (European Council, 2000; European Commission, 2003a). The Bologna Declaration (European Commission, 1999) is particularly Project Management, Complexity, evaluation models, Project–Based Learning, competence, engineering higher education.
